Reportedly, Chelsea’s Danny Drinkwater is unhappy at Stamford Bridge and wants to leave the club in the summer and Scottish side Celtic FC are giving ‘serious consideration’ to the idea of bringing in the 30-year-old on loan to reinforce their squad.
‘Drinkwater is a hard-working midfielder who has the mentality to provide strength to the spine of the team throughout the match, a virtue which would suit Celtic’s side,’ states the report.
The report suggests Drinkwater’s loan deal will include a purchase option for the Scottish club.
30-year-old midfielder who joined Chelsea from Leicester City in 2017 failed to success in London. Despite being a regular starter for ‘The Foxes’ he struggled to get into a starting lineup for the Blues and even hasn’t made even one appearance this season.
