France became the winner of this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The 11-year-old singer, Valentina, brought her first victory to her country with the song J’imagine and 200 points received from the jury and the audience.

Poland hosted the eighteenth Children’s Eurofest. 12 countries participated in the 2020 competition. It is noteworthy that for the first time in history, the Junior Eurovision Song Contest was held in a partially virtual format – all participants performed their own contest song in their home country, although the main show, which was attended by a small audience, was broadcast from a Warsaw TV studio. Nevertheless, the tradition was not broken and the participants performed the so-called common song together again.

The slogan of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020 was Move the World, which is a kind of call for all people to contribute to the development of the world. Podcasts – people of different professions that are changing the world – were also loaded with topics. Tengiz Tsertsvadze, the director of the Tbilisi Infectious Diseases Hospital, appeared in the Georgian podcast together with Sandra.
