Justin Bieber Objects to Grammy Nominations for Pop
By admin - November 25, 2020

Yesterday, November 24, the list of nominees for the 2021 Grammy Awards, the famous American music award, was published and the popular singer Justin Bieber received four nominations, however, despite this, the candle singer is still a bit upset.

Bieber’s last year’s work has been nominated for the pop genre, though the singer himself believes it to be wrong: a post on his personal Instagram page insists he should be nominated in the R&B category and not Pop.

“Changes was and is an R&B album. For some reason the Grammy jury members did not think so, which is very strange to me. I grew up adoring R&B music and have always dreamed of creating something like this. “Given the melody and vocal style I used to create the album, it undoubtedly belongs to the R&B genre,” wrote Bieber, 26.

It is true that Justin Bieber regrets not being considered in the category of his own work, but many musicians are more surprised by the fact that such an important contemporary musician as The Weeknd could not be nominated at all.

The Weeknd itself responded to this fact and accused the Grammy Awards of corruption.

As for Justin Bieber, you can listen to his most famous single from his album Changes and evaluate for yourself whether he deserved the nomination for R&B album, or whether he deserved anything at all…
