Magic Of An Early Morning Routine
By Alexandra Wade - June 29, 2022

Waking up early in the morning does not sound too delightful. It is extremely painful to get out of your warm and comfortable bed, to yet again indulge yourself in everyday tasks. While it is undeniably difficult to leave your bed early in the mornings, it can make completing your daily tasks so much easier. It will be difficult to wake up at dusk initially, but then it only takes seven days to form a habit! Plenty of research proves that our brains are most active early in the mornings, after a good night’s sleep. This can help you do your tasks more quickly than you would during any other point in the day. You also tend to be more creative during the mornings, making it even more efficient to get through your to-do list in the morning.

Starting your day early in the morning also has plenty of benefits to one’s mental health. Waking up early and endorsing a routine in your life helps you gain control. You are more likely to be on top of your tasks, and more than that, there is plenty of time during the day for you to indulge in recreational activities. Socializing with friends and family, and doing the activities you like is extremely essential for your wellbeing! It gives you some time to get away from the stressors of everyday life, helping lower anxiety levels. Prolonged periods of stress can have a permanent negative impact on your brain, lowering your creative abilities.

To make your early mornings even more magical, you can practice mindfulness right after you wake up. This is an excellent way to bring your attention to the present. And allow your brain and body to connect. If you do not feel like sitting in one spot and focusing on your breath, you can also journal, as a form of meditation. Pour out all your thoughts on paper, plan out your day and week, check on all the goals you have achieved over the past week, and celebrate yourself! In no time, you will find yourself falling in love with an early morning routine!
