Pixar’s new animation, Soul, which everyone is looking forward to, will be released exclusively on Disney Plus instead of in theaters. The animation, rated as the event of the year, will appear on the streaming service on Christmas, December 25th. In countries where the platform is not available, its launch on the big screens is still being considered, although the date is still unknown.
The premiere of Soul was scheduled for June 2020, which was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. November 20 was later chosen as the date of his speech, but it was postponed for the same reason.
Among the premieres scheduled for 2020, Soul is considered to be one of the most interesting and intriguing animations. Disney and Pixar worked on its creation, which guarantees animation lovers from the very beginning that they should expect the least frustration from a future show.
The storyline of the new animation is built entirely around human identity. The protagonist of the story is schoolteacher Joe Gardner, whose dream is to become a jazz star, though his life changes completely due to an accident.
“Use your precious time to express yourself – your brilliant, fiery inner world to the end and add something valuable to this world. Get ready, your life begins,” Joe Gardner said in the trailer.
