The World's First Electric Wingsuit
By admin - November 10, 2020

Engineers at BMW, a car manufacturing company, have created a special suit that allows people to fly using small engines and a glider. With this costume, a speed of about 300 km / h can be achieved.

BMW’s flying engine has 20 horsepower and, unlike the standard glider, allows the pilot to maintain height. This eye-catching invention has been tested about 30 times. During his first public demonstration, Peter Salzman flew over the Australian Alps.

Salzman and two other “flying” costumes jumped out of the helicopter as they approached the top of the mountain. Salzman started his engine and flew over the top of the peak.

It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. The test flight was, for the most part, part of the auto company’s new electric car – the iX3 PR campaign.
