Unwatered Office Plants of Lockdown – in Pictures

Photographer Ricky Adam had no plans to do coronavirus-related projects, but when he returned to Leeds University of the Arts after Lockdown, he instantly noticed the plants.
“The first plant I looked at was already shriveled so that nothing could be helped. Then I noticed another one. Eventually, I went into every office on every floor of every building where I could, and took photos of ‘dead’ plants … with T. S. I was reminded of Eliot’s horrible phrase: ‘This is how the world will end: not with a sudden noise, but with a silent murmur,’ “said the photographer.
