Zoom Cancels 40 Minute Video Call Limit For Upcoming Holidays
By admin - December 17, 2020

“Talk to your loved ones without thinking about time,” says the company Zoom.

The online dating platform Zoom opens a 40-minute meeting limit and it all applies to specific holidays. Limits will be removed for Hanukkah, Christmas, New Year and Kwanzaa.

It is noteworthy that the company lifted the 40-minute limit last month, similarly for Thanksgiving.

Below is the exact time when we can talk with Zoom indefinitely:

  • Thursday, Dec. 17 from 7 p.m., Dec. 19 to 3 p.m., until the end of Hanukkah;
  • On Wednesday, December 23 from 7 pm to 3 pm on December 26;
  • Wednesday, Dec. 30, 7 a.m., Saturday, Jan. 2, 3 p.m., New Year’s Day, and end of Kwanzaa;

Normally, using the free Zoom service, the meeting does not last more than 40 minutes. If you want to talk even after 40 minutes, you have to finish the first meeting and re-create a new one.

By lifting the limit on the holidays listed, virtual meetings with friends and family will be less time-oriented and people will be able to talk more freely.
